Hosts and PTSI Resilience Trainers John Salerno and Samantha Horwitz talk with Tammy & Dan Roach, founders of Cornerstone Retreat Center on @A Badge of Honor TV.
Tammy is an ordained pastor and a trained Spiritual Director who provides Spiritual Coaching First Responders. She also serves as a chaplain for Plainfield PD/FD and the Metropolitan Alliance of Police (MAP).
Dan worked as a law enforcement officer/executive for 31 years. He retired from the Illinois State Police and then served as the Deputy Chief of the Schaumburg (IL) Police Department. 
Dan is a member of the Northern Illinois Critical Incident Stress Management Team, currently serving as a Law Enforcement Peer Supporter, and also holds the executive position of Training Coordinator. He is a member of  “We Never Walk Alone” Illinois Peer Support Team, serving as a peer supporter.
Tammy and Dan have been married for over 23 years. Together, they have journeyed through to the upside of PTSD. They share the same passion to help First Responders and their families stay connected, and emotionally and spiritually strong in the face of adversity.
